Stay
Jandarra Farm offers a comfortable, peaceful camping experience on a working farm in the Gold Coast hinterland, 20 minutes to Burleigh Heads and 1.5 hours drive from Brisbane.
Campers are often drawn here to find out about regenerative agriculture practices and we delight in hearing that they feel rejuvenated, inspired and willing to make positive changes in their lives when they depart.
Having people stay here, gives rise to ‘campfire conversations’ and the opportunity for visitors to observe the abundance and diversity of plants and animals while exploring the self-guided trails.
Jandarra is one of two Hipcamp sites to be certified through Ecotourism Australia. This certification assures travellers they are booking high-quality eco experiences. Our goal is to model and inspire responsible ecological stewardship and foster harmony and creativity to build a regenerative and abundant future.
Camping Options
There are three sites for either a tent, camper trailer, or 4WD caravan. See our Hipcamp listing to book or view photos and details about extras.
No tent? No worries. Visit our listing on Hipcamp to book one of our two pop-up trailer tents (with or without linen).
Experience
Jandarra means 'place of peace' and we honour this by having a maximum of 6 campers at a time.
Guests can visit the rockpool, take a self-guided walk through the rainforest, book a sauna (see Extras on Hipcamp) and enjoy a conversation around the campfire under the stars.
There are hot showers, and toilets as well as a large rustic barn with a well-equipped camp kitchen (no microwave).
There are many places to wander, sit and listen.
Guests have told us they leave with feelings of connectedness, knowledge and a sense of peace. This is evident in reviews on our Hipcamp site here.
Jandarra is registered with Land for Wildlife. In addition to the cattle, who are our co-workers in our quest to build soil biology and rebalance nature, Jandarra is home to chickens, bees and worms.
We ask all guests to be mindful of wildlife, farm animals and electric fences when moving around the property. Read more about the local wildlife here.
Jandarra is a working farm with rocky, uneven ground and electric fences. Accessible parking is provided, however, amenities are not accessible.
